Brevard Jewish Community School provides a superior, well-rounded academic education while integrating the basic beliefs and practices of Judaism.
Several years ago, a group of caring, creative, enthusiastic and determined parents established the Brevard Jewish Community School (BJCS). Located in Temple Beth Sholom(a center for prayer, study and community) BJCS has grown into a strong academic program consisting of Pre-S-a three-year-old class and Pre-K-a four-year-old-class as well as Academy grades K-6. The non-profit, private day school today offers excellence in general and Judaic studies. Nestled in the quiet community of Melbourne, Florida, the campus offers a caring, nurturing environment for learners.
BJCS proudly acknowledges that it is accredited by Florida Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACSCASI). SACSCASI is the same agency that accredits the public schools, and BJCS is the first private school in Brevard County to receive this prestigious designation. Our entire teaching staff is degreed and certified and meets or exceeds the SACS requirements.
Brevard Jewish Community School offers admission to qualified students regardless of race, sex, color, national or ethnic origin.
